Bangladesh : HuJI allowed to float political party |

The caretaker Government in Bangladesh has allowed the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami, or HuJI, to float a political party, the Islamic Democratic Party, ahead of December 18 elections. The feeling in New Delhi is that this move will only legitimize the violent activities of the organization and is, therefore, reprehensible.
