BSF chief blames Pakistan for infiltration

Border Security Force (BSF) Director General M.L. Kumawat has accused Pakistani troops of repeatedly opening fire on Indian security forces in recent weeks to help infiltrators cross into India. After conducting a review of the situation on the international border on Oct 4, Kumawat told reporters that infiltrators had made frequent bids to cross into the Indian side in the past few weeks but failed due to the counter offensive of the BSF troopers.
